Common Support Topics

Phone verification and OTP

Grid Pay uses phone verification to help secure accounts. If you do not receive an OTP:

  • Check that your phone number is entered correctly.
  • Wait for the resend timer to finish, then request a new OTP.
  • Confirm that your mobile network can receive SMS messages.
  • Contact support if the issue continues.

Adding a KSEB account

To add a KSEB account, enter your 10-digit KSEB consumer number and an optional nickname such as "Home." If the app does not accept the number, confirm that it contains only digits and is the correct length.

You should only add consumer numbers that you are authorized to access.

Bill fetching and bill details

Grid Pay may show current, upcoming, overdue, and paid bills for added KSEB accounts. If bill information looks incorrect:

  • Refresh the dashboard.
  • Confirm that the correct consumer number is saved.
  • Compare the details with your official KSEB records.
  • Contact support with your consumer number and the bill details shown in the app.

Official KSEB records should be treated as the source of truth for final bill amounts, due dates, and account status.

Solar access and credit estimates

Grid Pay estimates solar access and monthly credits based on your bill amount and app calculation assumptions. Actual credits, savings, costs, and availability may vary. If your estimate looks wrong, contact support with your average bill amount and the estimate shown in the app.

Bill payments

Grid Pay may let you apply available solar credits toward a bill and pay any remaining amount. Before confirming a payment, review:

  • KSEB account nickname and consumer number.
  • Bill number.
  • Bill amount.
  • Credit used.
  • Cash amount to pay.
  • Total amount.

If a payment fails, check your connection and try again. If a payment appears successful but the bill does not update, contact support with the transaction date, bill number, consumer number, and amount.

Credit balance and transaction history

The app may show your current credit balance, total credits earned, monthly credits, solar access details, and recent transactions. If a balance or transaction looks incorrect, contact support with the affected date and amount.

Removing a KSEB account

You can remove a saved KSEB consumer number from the profile area. Removing a consumer number may stop new bill updates for that account in the app, but it does not change your official KSEB account.

Signing out

Use the sign-out option in the profile area to end your app session on the device. If you lose access to your phone number or believe your account is compromised, contact support immediately.
